Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 11, 2026

Everyday Tools is operated by MD Labs. This policy explains what happens to your data when you use the site.

Tool input (what you type, paste, or upload)

Every tool currently published on Everyday Tools processes your input entirely in your browser — the numbers, text, or files you enter are never transmitted to our servers or any third party. If a future tool ever needs to send data to a server to work (for example, a conversion that can't run in a browser), that tool's own page will state this explicitly before you use it.

Cookies and local storage

As of this update, Everyday Tools does not set any tracking or advertising cookies, and does not store anything in your browser's local storage. If we add analytics (such as Google Analytics) or advertising (such as Google AdSense) in the future, we will update this policy and our Cookie Policy first to describe exactly what's added and why.

Server and hosting logs

Like virtually any website, Everyday Tools is served through a hosting provider (currently Vercel), which automatically logs standard technical request data — such as IP address, browser user agent, and request timestamps — for security, abuse prevention, and reliability purposes. We don't access this data for tracking individuals, and it isn't linked to any tool input.

Contact form and email

If you email us through the details on our Contact page, we use the information you send only to respond to your message. We don't add your email to any mailing list or share it with third parties.

Advertising

Everyday Tools does not currently display any advertising. If we introduce advertising (such as Google AdSense) in the future, this policy and our Cookie Policy will be updated to describe what data the ad provider may collect and how you can control it.

Data retention

We don't retain tool input at all, since it's never sent to us. Emails you send us are kept only as long as needed to handle your request, unless we're required to keep them longer for legal reasons.

Your rights

Since we don't collect personal data through the tools themselves, there is generally nothing tied to you to access, correct, or delete. For anything you've sent us directly (such as an email), contact us and we'll address your request.

Changes to this policy

If how we handle data changes — for example, by adding analytics or advertising — we'll update this page and the "Last updated" date above.
