Image Watermark
Add a text watermark to a photo — your name, a copyright notice, "DRAFT", or any text — with full control over position, size, color, opacity and rotation, including a repeated diagonal tile pattern for stronger protection.
Processing happens locally in your browser. Nothing you enter is uploaded.
How It Works
Choose a photo, type the watermark text, and adjust position (corner, center, or tiled across the whole image), size, color, opacity and rotation angle. The preview updates instantly; download the result as a PNG.
Example
The text "© Jane Doe 2026" at 45° rotation, tiled across a portfolio photo at 40% opacity, marks the image without hiding the content underneath.
Frequently Asked Questions
- Is my photo uploaded anywhere?
- No — the watermark is drawn onto the image using the Canvas API, entirely in your browser.
- Can I use my logo as a watermark instead of text?
- Not with this tool — it adds a text watermark only. For overlaying a logo image, most photo editors support that directly.
- Does the tiled option cover the whole image?
- Yes — "Repeated (tiled)" repeats the rotated watermark text in a grid across the entire image, which is harder to crop out than a single corner watermark.
- Can someone remove the watermark?
- A watermark added by any tool (including this one) can potentially be removed with enough effort in image-editing software — it deters casual reuse and marks ownership, but isn't unbreakable protection.
